In the present meeting, we can truly stand eye to eye in love and grace.*

February 2022
Duration: 60 minutes

Vice Versa is about being human together with another human being.

Vice Versa is about being human together with another human being, your human being, in situations that can be difficult to handle, and how you individually and together face challenges. The desire is to convey the theme only through movement and physical expression, the two people/dancers Nora Svenning and Sudesh Adhana and their qualities are in the center, and therefore neither scenography nor props are used, and the costumes are very simple. The lighting design by Paul Vidar Sævarang is important to define an enclosed area and to create an atmosphere of isolation on larger stages. The choreography and content of Vice Versa are created in silence to focus on content and the performers’ dissemination, but the original music for the performance, created and performed by Hege Rimestad, provides a strong framework for the experience of the performance. The whole concept of Vice Versa is thought of flexibly, i.e. different parts of the performance can be put together and shown in different lengths and formats, and thus shown in silence or to different sound/music in different contexts. However, the original music will always be the format when the performance is shown in its entirety. We want to play on different stages, small and large, both outdoors and indoors, and the church room, for example, is a desired venue in combination with a larger choral work.
